Bows of Hope
If The Bow Fits Boutique presents BOWS OF HOPE. Crochet and Cotton Beanie Caps and Hair Bows for girls undergoing medical treatments. You too, can make a difference by supporting our vision for Bows Of Hope. If The Bow Fits Boutique and our family foundation, The Johnny Genna Foundation, a 501 3 (c) non-profit organization will donate hats and bow and headbands to pediatric cancer patients as well as other children who may lose their hair while going through medical treatment. For every girl deserves to feel fabulous, even while undergoing medical treatments!
It's our hope and prayer that one day a cure for cancer and the many other illnesses that affect our family and friends will be found and eventually no one will be in need of a Bows of Hope hat, but until then we'll keep sending these special hats (and smiles) to our Heroes. Thank you to all of our donors and to The Johnny Genna Foundation, our family foundation for my children's Uncle Johnny who passed away at 4 yrs old, without you, we would not be able to continue on with our mission to change a childs life.
The Johnny Genna Foundation has raised over $2 million for Children's Memorial Hospital through Dinner Dances, Golf Outings, Donations, Silent Auctions and more.
Among the sports celebrities who have worked with the Johnny Genna Foundation are former DePaul coach Ray Meyer, Chicago Bears Brian McCaskey, Ed & Virginia McCaskey and Chicago Bears players Dan Hampton, Al Harris, Brad Muster, Bryan Wagner, John Adickes and Glen Kozlowski as well as Illinois Secretary of State, Jesse White, Connie Payton and the list goes one.
